Mimi Koehl is a Professor in the Department of Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. She investigates biomechanics through an interdisciplinary lens, combining fluid/solid mechanics with biology to study how morphology affects organismal function in diverse environments. Her research addresses ecological and evolutionary questions using both field and laboratory experiments.
