Milos Nedeljkovic is a Principal Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment and the Department of Electronics and Computer Science. He is a core member of the Photonic Systems, Circuits and Sensors Group and the Silicon Photonics research cluster. His work focuses on mid-infrared photonic technologies, including sensor development for healthcare and environmental applications, silicon-based photonic devices, and optoelectronic integration.
Current active projects include the EPSRC-funded MISSION initiative for mid-infrared sensors and the C-PIC project exploring photonic integration. He leads the Royal Academy of Engineering-funded 'On-chip systems for mid-infrared sensing' and has pioneered silicon photonic thermal photodetectors via EPSRC grants.
