Milind Ranade is a Lecturer in Marathi at the University of Pennsylvania (School of Arts & Sciences) and an adjunct instructor of Hindi at Temple University. He has taught Hindi and Marathi at institutions across the Philadelphia area since 2004, including Drexel University, University of Sciences, and the STARTALK Hindi and Urdu Program at Princeton, New Jersey.

Research and Interests: Milind specializes in language education for South Asian languages, with a focus on Hindi and Marathi instruction. His professional interests intersect with cultural studies and pedagogical methodologies. Beyond academia, he is an active cartoonist whose work addresses political and social themes, alongside passions for agriculture, gardening, and cooking.

- 2015 Penn Language Center Award for Distinguished Teaching by a Language Educator
Publications: He authored Cartoonyatra, a compilation of political and social cartoons from 1978–2001, accompanied by essays on cartooning styles and theoretical influences.
