Milica Sofinkić is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Serbian Literature, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad. She holds a Master's degree in Serbian Literature from the same institution (2019) and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the Language and Literature module. Her academic work spans teaching, editorial contributions, and research in literary theory and contemporary literature.
- Education: B.A. (2018) and M.A. (2019) in Serbian Literature from University of Novi Sad.
- Teaching: Assistant Professor since 2023; Teaching Demonstrator (2021-2023).
Research Focus: Her interests include literary theory, translation theory, semiotics of culture, and comparative literature, with a focus on themes like otherness, narrative polyvalence, and cultural memory. She explores intersections between Serbian literature and global literary trends.
Editorial Contributions: Active member of the editorial board of the Journal of Literature and Theory – Polja, engaging in editing, translating, and proofreading. Notable thematic issues include "Global Literature" and "Toni Morrison".
