Milad Mohsenzadeh

Dr. Milad Mohsenzadeh is a Senior Research Officer at The Australian National University (ANU), affiliated with the ANU College of Systems & Society and the School of Engineering. His expertise spans mechanical and energy engineering with a focus on renewable energy systems, solar-driven desalination, and energy efficiency in built environments. He leads a $3 million DFAT project commercializing solar desalination technology for remote areas and holds 3 patents in his field.

Education includes a PhD from the University of Melbourne (2022), a double M.Sc. and B.Sc. (Hons) from Iran’s Sharif University of Technology and Amirkabir University of Technology. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UNSW’s School of Photovoltaic & Renewable Energy under Prof. Martin Green, funded by ARENA and ACAP.

Research focuses on bridging innovation to practical solutions, particularly in solar energy conversion and water security.
