Miklós Erhardt is an associate professor at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME), where he has taught since 2008. He serves as a supervisor at MOME's Doctoral School and leads both the Media Design BA and MA programs.
- Education: Doctor of Liberal Arts (DLA) from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts (2009).
His research and educational focus centers on the historical relationship between fine art and design, public art, media criticism, and media history. His artistic practice spans participatory projects, documentaries, and conceptual media art, often addressing social and political themes. Key exhibitions include Manifesta 7, Wiener Secession, and Galéria Kiállítóháza in Belgrade.
Recent publications include a 2022 translation of Guy Debord's The Society of the Spectacle. His work critiques the intersection of art, critical theory, and societal structures, with a shift toward more personal artistic directions post-2006.
Erhardt resides in Budapest and Vienna, maintaining ties to both cities' art scenes while critically reflecting on scarcity vs. abundance in artistic environments.
