Miklós Koltai

Miklós Koltai is a habilitated Associate Professor at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences of ELTE Eötvös Loránd University. He works at the Institute of Sport Sciences in Szombathely and serves as a lecturer and Member of the Research Transparency Committee. He is affiliated with the Mészáros János Applied Exercise Physiology Research Group.

His research focuses on agility, motor performance, and physiological assessment in youth athletes, particularly soccer players. He explores connections between body composition and athletic capabilities, and evaluates training methodologies and skill development through mechanical and motoric tests. His work also addresses pedagogical programs for emerging physical education teachers and online sports education challenges.

Recent publications analyze agility factors, endurance metrics, and team dynamics in junior athletes, with cross-cultural comparisons of Hungarian and Serbian soccer players. He investigates collective task-solving in volleyball and the impact of summer camps on athletic development.
