Mike Mills is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, affiliated with the College of Arts & Human Sciences and the Teaching, Learning & Leadership Department. He serves as Program Director for the B.S. Technology Education programs and as a Certificate Advisor for Practical Skills for Beginning K-12 Career & Technical Educators.
- Education: Ed.D. in Educational Practice and Leadership (University of North Dakota, 2023), M.S. in Educational Technology (Dakota State University, 2009), B.S. in Technology Education (Southern Utah University, 2005), and A.A.S. in Criminal Justice (Southern Utah University).
Research Interests focus on Career and Technical Education (CTE), with emphasis on Digital Fabrication and School to Career Transitions. His work integrates Work-Based Learning strategies to strengthen K-12 and higher education collaborations.
Current Activities include outreach for fab labs, curriculum development, and preparing future educators and leaders in Technology Education. His industry experience in cabinetry and teaching endorsements enrich practical applications in his academic work.
