Mike Kingsford is a Distinguished Professor of Marine Biology at James Cook University, affiliated with the College of Science and Engineering. He has held leadership roles including Dean of the College of Marine and Environmental Sciences and President of the Australian Coral Reef Society. His research focuses on coral reef ecology, climate change impacts, jellyfish dynamics, and reef fish connectivity.
