Mike Clark

Mike Clark is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics. He serves as Director of the Center for Business and Economic Research and has conducted applied economic and policy research focusing on labor, health, and economic development issues.

Dr. Clark’s research bridges academic inquiry with practical policy analysis, with a focus on labor economics, health policy, and regional economic development. His work has been published in the Journal of Labor Research, and he has collaborated extensively with Kentucky state agencies including the Department of Public Health, Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, and Department of Income Support.
