Professor Mike Bonsall is a faculty member at the University of Oxford, Department of Biology, within the Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Division (MPLS). He leads the Mathematical Ecology Group and serves as Associate Head (Education) for the MPLS Division. Known for his interdisciplinary approach, he combines mathematics, biology, and philosophy to address complex problems such as bio-security, human extinction risks, malaria eradication via gene-edited mosquitoes, and PTSD treatments using cognitive modeling.
