Mikael Lundbäck is a Researcher and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Physics, Umeå University, affiliated with the UMIT Research Lab. His work focuses on automation, machine learning applications, and sustainable forest operations. Current projects include the Mistra Digital Forest initiative (2019–2026) and contributions to the Technodiversity e-learning platform for harmonizing forest engineering education across Europe.
