Prof. Dr. Mihály Réger serves as a Professor at Óbuda University's Bánki Donát Faculty of Mechanical and Safety Engineering. His institutional roles include:
- Head of the Doctoral School of Materials Sciences and Technologies
- Internal member of the University Doctoral and Habilitation Council
- Non-voting member of the University Academic Student Council
- Invited consultant to the Senate with right to consult
