Mihail Gruev

Mihail Gruev serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology at New Bulgarian University. He teaches GENB011 Anthropology and is integral to the Egyptology Bachelor's program (Catalogue 2024/2025), which delivers instruction in Bulgarian on Egyptian language, culture, and literature.

His research spans Anthropology and Egyptology, emphasizing ancient Egyptian societal structures, cultural practices, and linguistic traditions. This work directly supports NBU's Egyptology curriculum, training students in specialized Egyptian heritage studies through anthropological frameworks.
