Mihai Craiu

Dr. Mihai Craiu is an Associate Professor at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy and head of Discipline 2 Pediatrics at the National Institute for Mother and Child (INSMC). He specializes in pediatric pulmonology and critical care medicine, with extensive experience in clinical research and medical communication. He leads the Virtual Children’s Hospital (SVC) initiative, an influential social media platform addressing pediatric health issues, recognized nationally and internationally. Dr. Craiu has conducted over 14 clinical studies in pediatric pulmonology and served as principal/sub-investigator in studies like the European ARPEC project. His work focuses on improving doctor-patient communication, combating medical misinformation, and enhancing health literacy.
