Prof. Mihaela Pilca is a faculty member in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Regensburg, Germany. Her research focuses on differential and complex geometry, global analysis, spectral theory, and mathematical physics. She holds an office in Room M 124 and can be reached via email at Mihaela.Pilca@mathematik.uni-regensburg.de. Her academic activities include organizing workshops, giving conference talks, and supervising teaching activities in mathematics courses for various disciplines.
Her research interests emphasize geometric structures on manifolds, conformal geometry, and Kähler geometry. Notably, she has contributed to studies on locally conformally Kähler (lcK) manifolds, Einstein metrics, and spectral properties of geometric operators. She actively participates in academic networks, including seminars like the Kepler-Kolloquium and SFB Lecture, and has organized conferences such as the 2018 Workshop on Special Metrics and Symmetries on Complex Manifolds.
Teaching responsibilities include courses for biochemists, chemists, economists, and future teachers. She also coordinates central exercises and mentorship programs for analysis and geometry modules. Her academic contributions span over 20 peer-reviewed articles, preprints, and conference proceedings, reflecting her interdisciplinary engagement in geometry and analysis.
