Mihaela Negulescu is a Professor at the Department of Urban Planning and Territorial Development within the Faculty of Urban Planning at Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urban Planning (UAUIM) in Bucharest, Romania. She coordinates the "Urban Mobility" Master's program and serves as an affiliated member of the Doctoral School of Urban Planning, where she is qualified to supervise doctoral studies.
Her research focuses on sustainable urban mobility, land use and mobility integration (LUM), urban regeneration through mobility remodeling, and accessibility planning. Professor Negulescu has developed innovative approaches to urban mobility that emphasize the relationship between urban form and transportation systems, with particular attention to pedestrian-friendly design, intermodal transport hubs, and the rehabilitation of public spaces.
