Miguel Monjardino is a Visiting Professor of Geopolitics and Geostrategy at the Institute for Political Studies of the Portuguese Catholic University since 2001. He concurrently serves as a foreign affairs columnist for the newspaper Expresso and a political-military analyst for the cable news channel SIC-Notícias. In 2004, he founded 'The Republic,' a Greek Classics educational program for high-school students in Angra do Heroísmo, his hometown in the Azores.
