Miguel F. Acevedo

Miguel F. Acevedo is a Regents Professor in Electrical Engineering at the University of North Texas College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics from UC Berkeley, an M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley, and B.S./M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from UT Austin.

Research focuses on environmental sensor systems, renewable energy integration, and ecological modeling. Key projects include sustainable desalination systems, wireless environmental monitoring networks, and renewable power applications.
