Miguel Elizalde, M.F.A., is an Assistant Professor of Communications at Barton College. With a background in advertising and over 15 years of experience in Europe and the United States, he teaches courses at the intersection of art, design, and technology. His artistic practice explores body sensations embedded in perception, focusing on infrasound in public spaces through video, spatial installations, and sound-based works.
His research bridges artistic and commercial domains, examining collaborations between artists and brands. Elizalde has exhibited internationally across Europe, Asia, and America, and has worked as a creative consultant for global clients.
