Miguel Colom

Miguel Colom is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the Centre Borelli of École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay. His primary research focuses on digital image processing, including blind noise estimation, satellite design (SMOS-HR mission), and image forgery detection, with an emphasis on reproducible research practices.

His work includes detecting image forgeries via noise analysis and advancing satellite imaging technologies.

Recent research highlights include a Best Paper Award for 'NoiseSniffer' (2021) and supervising PhD student Tina Nikoukhah, recipient of the 2023 Thesis Prize GDR Sécurité Informatique. His articles address topics such as reproducible research policies, synthetic image detection, and noise estimation in video signals.
