Mickey Glantz is a Senior Scientist at the University of Colorado Boulder since 1983 and serves as the Research Associate Director of the Consortium for Capacity Building (CCB). His work focuses on the interplay between climate and society, examining how climate anomalies and human activities affect quality of life.
He has authored numerous articles and edited several books on climate, environment, and policy. Glantz organizes multidisciplinary, multinational workshops on climate-related issues and contributes climate-focused editorials through his blog Fragile Ecologies and previously for Boulder's Daily Camera.
His research spans climate science, environmental policy, and societal impacts of climate change, emphasizing adaptive strategies and human-environment interactions.
