Dr. Michiel Kregel serves as a Group Lead for the NOVA submm and NOVA Optical Infrared teams at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Science and Engineering. His work is affiliated with the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute, focusing on observational astronomy and astrophysics.
- Research Interests: Submillimeter and optical-infrared astronomy, galaxy formation, interstellar medium, and instrumentation development.
- Current Positions: Leadership roles in NOVA submm and NOVA Optical Infrared collaborations.
