Michelle Vestbo Nielsen

Michelle Vestbo Nielsen is a PhD Fellow at Roskilde University's Department of People and Technology within the Health and Society Research Group. Her work focuses on elderly rehabilitation systems in municipal healthcare settings, particularly examining ethical dimensions of collaborative care practices.

Her research interests center on Elderly Rehabilitation, Healthcare Ethics, and Chronic Disease Management within municipal healthcare systems. Using participatory ethnography, she investigates collaboration dynamics between elderly citizens, relatives, and healthcare professionals at temporary residential facilities. Her work addresses demographic challenges of aging populations and rising chronic conditions through ethical frameworks for improving rehabilitation quality.
