Michelle Rogers

Michelle Rogers is a tenured Master Instructor (academic rank: Lecturer) in the Department of Biology at Austin Peay State University. She holds additional appointments as Outreach and Environmental Education Coordinator at the Center of Excellence for Field Biology and State Coordinator for Project WET (Water Education Today).

Research Interests:
Her work centers on conservation biology, biodiversity preservation, and environmental education. She co-created the BIOL 2400 Sustaining Biodiversity curriculum, which develops solutions for climate change, habitat destruction, and ecological challenges. Her outreach emphasizes water conservation and K-12 teacher training.

Professional Activities:
She conducts professional development workshops for educators and presents at national conferences including the Tennessee Environmental Education Association and North American Association of Environmental Educators.
