Michelle Lacey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Tulane University, with a joint appointment as Adjunct Associate Professor of Biostatistics. She holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Yale University (2003) and has held academic roles since 2003. Her research focuses on epigenetics, bioinformatics, and statistical methods for humanitarian data analysis. She has collaborated with organizations like the World Food Programme and contributed to projects on skeletal regeneration and atherosclerosis.

Research Interests
