Michelle Gregoire Fogel is the Chair of Liberal Arts and an Assistant Professor at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (PCA&D), where she also serves as a Persistence Mentor. She teaches a wide range of interdisciplinary courses including English, Sociology, Folklore, Theater, American Studies, and Communications.
Her educational background includes a BA in English/Linguistics from Millersville University and Queen’s College, Glasgow, and an MS in Human Services with a focus on Nonprofit Arts Outreach & Management from Capella University, Minnesota.
Michelle's research and professional interests span critical literacy, creative writing, storytelling, arts education, and restorative justice. As a Teaching Artist for the PA Council on the Arts through Millersville University, she delivers the Neighborhood Bridges curriculum in local schools, integrating theater and creative expression to build literacy skills. Her work emphasizes community engagement, inclusion, and student support through both curricular and extracurricular roles.

She is actively involved in student life, advising the LGBTQ+ Allies group and the “Yes, &” Improv Club. Additionally, she serves as a Title IX Restorative Justice Mediator, contributing to campus safety and equity initiatives.
Michelle is also a dedicated parent and pet owner, balancing her professional commitments with personal life, including caring for her pittie mix, Oscar.
