Michelle Fitzhugh-Craig

Mirchele Fitzhugh-Craig is a Lecturer in the Department of Journalism at San Francisco State University (SFSU). She is an award-winning journalist, media professional, and founder of shades Magazine, which celebrates women of color. Previously, she served as a faculty associate at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She launched MFC3 Media in 2019, a full-service media agency offering editorial, digital content, creative design, and social media management services.

Her educational background includes graduation from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. She co-authored the book *Living in the Moment: A Guide to Living a Full and Spiritual Life*. Professional affiliations include roles as Board Parliamentarian for the National Association of Black Journalists and Board President for Exceptional Women in Publishing.
