Michelle Broaddus

Michelle Broaddus, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She specializes in community-based and public health programs addressing mental health, substance use, and HIV care. Her work emphasizes health equity and vulnerable populations, particularly through initiatives like the Wisconsin Child Psychiatry Consultation Program (WI CPCP) and the Advancing Behavioral Health Initiative (ABHI). As PI of ABHI, she led an 8-year project funding community coalitions across Wisconsin to improve behavioral health systems at a population level.
