Michele Migliuolo is a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University's H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship, Department of Management. He is also a Certified Advisor at FedTech and a mentor at Techstars, CleanTech Open, The Venture Mentoring Team, and Broward SCORE. With a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Rochester and a Doctorate from Sapienza University of Rome, he brings decades of experience in high-tech entrepreneurship, semiconductor, medical device, and energy sectors.

Research & Entrepreneurial Focus:
Michele’s research and professional interests lie at the intersection of physics, entrepreneurship, and commercialization. His work spans MEMS, BioMEMS, thin film deposition, superconductors, and integrated optics. He has co-founded five high-tech companies and has extensive experience in launching products in both U.S. and international markets.
Publications & Patents:
Michele has authored over 80 publications, including refereed journals, conference proceedings, and patents. His work covers a wide range of topics from superconducting thin films to MEMS-based medical devices and optical amplifiers. His recent work includes development of catheter-based medical devices and stroke therapy systems.
Advising & Mentorship:
He actively mentors startup CEOs and provides internship opportunities to students through his network. He has served as Executive in Residence at TechGROWTH Ohio, Innovation Works, and Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse, and as Commercialization Expert at LifeX Labs.
