Michele H. Berger is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Academic Success and Bar Support at Albany Law School, focusing on legal skill development, academic resilience, and inclusive strategies for diverse law student populations. She holds a B.A. from Salem State University and a J.D. cum laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she transitioned from civil litigation and in-house counsel roles to academia.

Her research interests center on pedagogical frameworks in legal education, particularly initiatives that enhance bar passage rates and academic outcomes through evidence-based strategies. Prior to Albany Law School, she served as Assistant Dean for Academic and Bar Success at Charleston School of Law and held faculty and leadership positions at Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law, Gonzaga University School of Law, and Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
Professor Berger has received the 2025–26 AccessLex/AASE Faculty Scholar Program Grant for scholarship in progress. Her professional background includes corporate transactions, contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory compliance, and legal department management.
Outside of her academic and legal work, she enjoys playing softball and traveling.
