Michele Claiborne serves as Professor of Acute Care Internal Medicine and Chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Regis University's Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions, School of Pharmacy. A Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, she drives academic leadership and clinical education within pharmacy practice.
Her educational credentials include:
- Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Residency training in Family Medicine/Ambulatory Care with Internal Medicine emphasis at University of Colorado Hospital
Dr. Claiborne's research pioneers religious sensitivity in healthcare delivery while advancing educational methodologies through scholarship of teaching and learning. Her work critically examines inter-professional education frameworks, clinical rotation assessment validity, capstone curriculum development, and residency training optimization—directly shaping modern pharmacy pedagogy.
