Dr. Michele C. Weigle is a Professor of Computer Science at Old Dominion University (ODU), serving as Assistant Chair for Graduate Programs and Research and Graduate Program Director (GPD) for the PhD Program in the Department of Computer Science. She leads the ODU Web Science and Digital Libraries (WS-DL) Research Group and has extensive experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her research focuses on web archiving, social media analysis, and information visualization, with over 150 peer-reviewed publications and $6.5M in grants from NSF, NEH, IMLS, and others.
