Michele Bennett is an Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy and Division Chair for Applied Health & Wellness at Keuka College. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Keuka College, followed by a post-professional clinical doctorate (O.T.D.) from Chatham University in 2013.

Dr. Bennett’s professional focus spans clinical practice with adults, interprofessional service learning initiatives, program evaluation, and fieldwork education. She has presented at national conferences on topics including international service learning and outcome reporting. Currently, she works part-time as a per-diem therapist with the Visiting Nursing Association/Kaleida Health in the Steuben County region.
Her research interests center on enhancing care for adults with developmental disabilities, aging populations, and fostering student professional growth through experiential learning and community engagement.
Dr. Bennett also serves on the board of directors for The Arc of Yates, a nonprofit supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, highlighting her commitment to community advocacy and applied wellness initiatives.
