Michela Minero is a Full Professor at the University of Milan and Director of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences (DIVAS). She serves as a lecturer in Companion Animal and Equine Breeding Management for the Degree Course in Veterinary Medicine and Equine Breeding and Management for the Degree Course in Animal Breeding and Welfare.
- Education: Graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Milan; PhD in Animal Production with a specialization in Applied Ethology and Animal Welfare.
Her research focuses on equine management, behavior, and welfare, emphasizing welfare assessment in breeding conditions and optimal human-horse/donkey relationships. She is affiliated with the European College of Animal Welfare and Behavioural Medicine (ECAWBM) and the International Society of Equitation Science (ISES).
She is registered with the Order of Veterinarians in the Province of Lodi (Registration Number: 294).
