Michela Braga is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Università Bocconi since 2013. She holds fellowships at the Baffi-CAREFIN Centre and fRDB. Her education includes a Ph.D. in Economics from Università Bocconi (2008), a Master of Science in Economics from the same institution, and a Degree in Economics and Business from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
Her research focuses on Education Economics, Labour Economics, Migration, Social Exclusion, and Extreme Poverty. Notable studies include analyses of teacher performance in primary schools, long-term impacts of terrorism on trust, effects of gender quotas on political performance, and college teaching's influence on student outcomes.
Braga teaches courses such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Economics Lab, and preparatory economics modules. She has collaborated on interdisciplinary projects including field experiments on cooperation in segregated communities in South Africa.
