Michel Roux is a Senior Lecturer in the Image, Data, Signal (IDS) Department at Télécom Paris. He is affiliated with the IMAGES research team within the Information Processing and Communication Laboratory (LTCI). His academic career spans engineering, signal/image processing, and remote sensing.
- Graduated from ENST (Télécom Paris) in 1988 with an engineering degree
- PhD in Signal and Image (1992), thesis on multi-source image registration
His research focuses on creating cartographic databases through aerial image and map analysis, including work on building detection from aerial imagery. He also coordinates Image Processing courses for Télécom Paris’ Master's programs in Automatics and Signal Processing, and Remote Sensing.
