Michel Gingras

Michel Gingras is a Professor and University Research Chair at the University of Waterloo, affiliated with the Faculty of Science and the Department of Physics and Astronomy. His research focuses on quantum magnetism, condensed matter physics, and the interplay between geometry and quantum fluctuations in frustrated magnetic systems. He leads investigations into spin liquids, pyrochlore magnets, and the emergence of gauge structures in materials such as Yb2Ti2O7 and Lu2V2O7.
