Michel Dorval is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Université Laval, where he conducts research at the intersection of psycho-oncology, genetics, and public health. He leads a research team focused on hereditary breast cancer, palliative care, and ethical issues in genetic testing. He is the founder of Centre ROSE, now Réseau ROSE, and leads an interuniversity team on psilocybin use for existential distress in end-of-life care (www.p3a.ca).

The article trends show a strong emphasis on implementation science, patient communication, and the integration of genetic services into mainstream care.

He teaches courses in research methodology and health protocols at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
