Michel Dalberto is a distinguished French pianist and Professor at the Paris Conservatory since 2011. Renowned as a leading interpreter of Schubert and Mozart, he performs internationally with major orchestras under conductors including Erich Leinsdorf, Kurt Masur, and Sir Colin Davis.
His career began with early triumphs at the Salzburg Mozart Competition and Clara Haskil Prize, followed by his breakthrough Leeds Competition victory in 1978. Dalberto maintains an active performance schedule at premier festivals worldwide including Lucerne, Edinburgh, and La Roque d'Anthéron.
His artistic focus centers on Piano Performance and Classical Music Interpretation, with specialization in Romantic-era composers including Liszt, Debussy, Fauré, Schumann, and Ravel. He has also developed significant expertise in Orchestral Conducting, leading ensembles across Europe and Asia.
