Michaël Petit

Michaël Petit is a Professor at the Computer Science Faculty of the University of Namur, where he has been teaching and conducting research since 2004. He earned both his Master's degree (1992) and PhD (1999) in Computer Science from the same institution, with his doctoral work focusing on formal requirements engineering of manufacturing systems.

His research spans Requirements Engineering, Enterprise and Business Strategy Modeling, Interoperability, and Model-based Business-IT Alignment, with recent expansion into Green IT and ICT for sustainable development. His expertise covers business-IT alignment, enterprise modeling, modeling languages, information systems, formal methods, and sustainable technology development, connecting theoretical computer science with practical business applications.
