Michallene McDaniel is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology & Human Services at the University of North Georgia (UNG). She has been teaching on the Gainesville campus since 2001 and is actively involved in UNG's consolidation efforts. Prior to her academic career, she worked as a security officer and a certified racquet stringer, experiences that inform her interdisciplinary perspectives.
