Michael Wiles

Michael Wiles serves as the Associate Director of Academic Affairs and Visiting Professor for the University of Pittsburgh's Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) program within the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. He holds a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, along with advanced degrees in Education Leadership and Higher Education. With over four decades of experience in chiropractic education and administration, Wiles has held dean positions at three chiropractic colleges, including founding the College of Chiropractic Medicine at Keiser University. His work focuses on accreditation, curriculum development, and fostering interprofessional healthcare collaboration. He has been instrumental in shaping Pitt's DC program, emphasizing evidence-based practice and integration into mainstream healthcare. Wiles is a Fellow of the International College of Chiropractors and has contributed to advancing chiropractic education and research globally.

Research Interests: Chiropractic program development, healthcare administration, and the role of chiropractic in interprofessional teams. He aims to elevate chiropractic's standing within the broader healthcare system through education and accreditation initiatives.
