Michael V. Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chicana/o Studies at the University of California, Davis. He holds a Ph.D. in Education from UC Berkeley (2019) and was a UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Santa Barbara. His research focuses on racial and gender justice in education, particularly for Latino men and boys, including ethnographic studies of mentorship programs, life histories of Latino male teachers, and critical analyses of race and power in schools.
