Michael Tyler

Dr. Michael Tyler is a Professor of Accounting at Barry University, where he has served since 1994. He currently coordinates the Accounting and Management Information Systems programs and has previously chaired the Faculty Senate three times. With extensive international teaching experience in Europe, Mexico, and Jamaica, Tyler is recognized for teaching excellence. He holds a PhD in Business Administration (Accounting) from Florida International University (1995) and a BS in Human Resources from Florida State University (1978).

His teaching focuses on MBA courses such as Managerial Accounting (MBA 660) and Accounting Workshop (BUS 512).
