Michael Truran

Michael Truran is a Health Sciences Librarian and Assistant Professor at Monroe Library, Loyola University New Orleans. He has served since 2014, becoming a key liaison for the School of Nursing and other academic programs.

Education:

• M.L.S. in Library Science, Indiana University (2012)
• B.A. in History, Loyola University New Orleans (2010)

His research focuses on enhancing academic success through reference services and course-integrated research consultation programs. He coordinates virtual reference services for the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) and supports Loyola's largest online programs.
