Dr. Michael Stamatikos is an Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy at The Ohio State University (OSU) Newark and an astrophysicist affiliated with NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. He serves as Founding Director of the SciDome and Chief Science Officer of The Works. His research focuses on high-energy particle astrophysics, particularly Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) and multi-messenger astronomy, leveraging collaborations like Swift and Fermi missions. He has won prestigious awards, including the Bruno Rossi Prize (2007 and 2011), and led over 200 peer-reviewed publications.
