Michael Soha is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Communication at the University of New Hampshire's College of Liberal Arts. He holds an M.A. in Communications from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst and a B.A. in Communications from the University of New Hampshire.
His research focuses on critical thinking in digital culture, internet dynamics, multimedia platforms, news media, political communication, and fostering student scholarship. He teaches courses including Introduction to Media Studies, Media and Politics, and Honors Thesis supervision.
Soha's publications include analysis of YouTube's Content ID system and the Harlem Shake phenomenon (2016), contributions to the International Encyclopedia of Political Communication (2015), and a 2018 work titled Screening Scholarship.
