Michael Royce is an Adjunct Professor in the Art Foundation and Communication Arts departments at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of the Arts. An artist specializing in painting and textiles, he holds an MFA in Painting and Printmaking from VCU (2018) and a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University (2011). His work has been exhibited at Geoffery Young Gallery, Steven Zevitas Gallery, Elizabeth Foundation, and Golden Foundation for the Arts.
Awards include the Investing In Professional Artists Grant (Pittsburgh Foundation/Heinz Endowments) and David Wurtzel Memorial Fellowship (2017).
