Michael Rebold is an Associate Professor and Program Director of Integrative Exercise Science at Hiram College. He specializes in pediatric exercise physiology, behavioral medicine, and sport performance, with a focus on technology's impact on exercise behavior. Dr. Rebold holds a Ph.D. from Kent State University, an M.S. from The University of Akron, and a B.A. from Baldwin Wallace University.

His research explores how technology (e.g., cell phones) influences physical activity and how targeted training programs enhance sport performance. He actively collaborates with students on independent research projects to provide hands-on learning experiences.
Dr. Rebold is involved with the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association, emphasizing evidence-based approaches to improve quality of life through exercise. His work bridges scientific research with practical applications in athletic training and public health.
Prior to academia, he served as a strength and conditioning coach for the Cleveland Browns. He enjoys ultimate frisbee and integrates real-world insights from his coaching career into his teaching and research.
